Jersey Shore's The Issue Suing Abercrombie & Fitch for $4 Million

News.The suit originates from a disagreement the clothing label launched in August - something many considered a publicity stunt -- titled "Abercrombie & Fitch Proposes victory-Win Situation." The release pointed out, "We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino's link with our brand could potentially cause significant injury to our image. We understand the show is ideal for entertainment reasons, but believe this association is unlike the aspirational character within our brand, and can be distressing to quite a few fans."The Issue to guest-star on SuburgatoryThe company then decided to pay Sorrentino, furthermore for the show's producers, not to use the label. According to his legal team, this offer was not ever extended.Sorrentino's suit claims that Abercrombie & Fitch sells T-t t shirts featuring the Jersey Shoreline-produced slogan "GTL...You Understand the offerInch while others that read, "The Fitchuation." "It's wrongly used Sorrentino's title, image and likeness to advertise reasons in breach of relevant law."Sorrentino and also the team are wanting for just about any jury trial, $millions of royalty, and $3 million in damages.Abercrombie & Fitch did not immediately respond to demands for comment.
