ABC has bought comedy aircraft aircraft pilots Malibu Country, which will star the country singer-actress Reba McEntire, and Prairie Dogs, from That '70s Show's Jackie and Rob Filgo. In Malibu Country, McEntire stars just like a broke divorcee who moves her family to Malibu where she attempts to revive her music career and her children from being corrupted with the city. McEntire will reunite with Reba showrunner Kevin Abbott, who'll write and executive-result in the pilot, along with Mindy Schultheis, Michael Hanel, Pam Williams, Dork Stewart and Narvel Blackstock.
